On Thursday at 7.15pm my step niece lost her fight. Her 2 small children have been told but are so young dont realise quite what this is going to mean for them,.
My mum had an oncology app the same day, everyones emotions are so over the place at the moment nothing more I can really say.
But on a good note watched my niece leaving for her prom last night and she looked absolutely stunning. She has certainly changed into a beautiful swan.
please can someone help. my dad has liver cancer and is currently having chemo, he feels sick 24/7 and is sick at least once a day. he's on anti sickness tab's but not much relief. he can each the stem ginger at the mo as its too sweet. ginger wine helps a bit but does anyone have any tips they have tried and worked or heard about..... thanks

Now I'm past the post-op frequent disturbance to visit the loo, I hoped for better nights. But I'm still either having difficulty getting off to sleep or waking too early.
I keep rehearsing possible scenarios & conversations with my consultant. Having decided (if I have a choice) that I want cystectomy for better prognosis rather than risk BCG failure, I'm worried that he may try to persuade me otherwise.
I guess the medics may feel that the chance...

Starting to feel tired this afternoon but if its doing the business i dont care. Got my mind set on the CT scan set for 4 weeks and 5 days time and some good news for a change.
Looks like our little holiday which we planned for a week commencing this Sunday will be put off. Hubbie has a sore lump in his chest where line was taken out, in March. Phoned hospital who said it was probably caused by the line cap that was left in under the skin. Waiting now for phonecall to let us know when he has to go in for its removal. I am now a baldie! Pauline & I managed a real belly laugh or three getting to this stage, it felt really good to laugh like that. My only concern is that I now look frighteningly like my avatar. Hi I have just been diagnosed with High grade anaplastic large T- cell non Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 3B. After knowing I had a cancer for nearly 2 months, today they finally came up a name, and what a long one it is. I start CHOP chemo on Tuesday and after suffering from intermitent extreme pain in my groin I am really pleased I can now start on the road to recovery. Because of the pain they gave me Tramadol which has really made me constipated. Today they have given me Lactulose and Senna as they say...
