Back on full duties this week and managing ok but what awful weather its pretty hard on the bike.Keep thinking though this time last year didnt look like I would be here!.Digestive system appears to be getting better with not so many cramps and regular bowel movements although thats started the good old piles! theres always something eh? I had a phone call from the Day Therapy Centre today about 2pm, slightly panicked as I thought something had happened to Mo. Didn't need to worry all it was,Mo had done a lot today with having a bath,getting her nails done and having an aromatherapy massage and wore herself out. I'm not too sure if the Day Centre had decided to send Mo home or if Mo had decided to come home,hopefully I will find out what happened. I had my first respite carer in yesterday, didn't think this day was ever going to come round!!. Eve Grimstead was her name (sounds like someone from corrie!). Eve arrived at 10am because I wanted her to come in early as I had a dentist appointment (Joy!)at 10.30. I had arranged with the Association of Carers for her to sit-in from 10.30-1.30pm. I don't know first respite care and I had moved the goalposts..already lol. It was only a routine check-up at the dentist today,"no problems see you in 9...
Well I started the day by being in work, but getting more excited and slightly nervous about meeting a member of my Macland family , in PERSON!!
I had to go to hospital today to have Boob Tubes flushed, and LM told me she was going htere too, and,,,, at the same time lol!
Too good an opportunity to miss and now we've done it I want to meet all of you so LM will have to get this Group Meet event sorted heehee!!

Started with Blood test at the GPs. Last one said some things were a little low so needed a retest in 4 weeks. Ok.... so troop down to surgery and nice nurse does her stab, ouch thing but gets the blood out first time...

Well, you sent me a letter saying I should get one says LM who doesn't usually like stuff like that (but then again she usually doesn't get ill either ha ha ha) maybe I should...?
...Just took hubby to the station for his early train into work. He looked awful and the lingering smell of last night's dinner in the kitchen made him feel very nauseous. It is now day 6 of the first round of chemo. Tomorrow he has to go to the hospital to have the chemo bag changed for another week and then he will have two weeks off.
As I watched him walk towards the platform, I could have wept. He walks slowly and with effort, but he is determined to not let the side effects get the better...
