GP complaints. Where to start? Any experience of putting a complaint in?
Hi, just wondered if any of you have put complaints in about a GP, that was obstructive in getting treatment or getting the diagnosis? Really angry that my mums GP did this twice at critical times! After 18mths of being fobbed off with different diagnosis from IBS to middle-aged spread mum was finally diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, which had spread to both ovaries, omentum etc. She had 6 litres of ascites drained from her stomach! Some middle-aged spread! She is petite and slim so looked...

Hi, I am waiting to have a double mastectomy in 4 days time. This treatment was my choice as the doctor said that lumpectomy and radiation would be OK. I am having reconstruction at the same time, implant under the muscle. I am just not sure if I have made the right choices and no one I have asked can tell me either.

    Help
Calling all cancer victims to help. Please go to blog on cancer research uks website about refusal of drugs for kidney cancer. NICE is not fit for the purpose. Its inconsistency and cold hearted refusal of not giving cancer patients the drugs they deserve has got to stop. Please add weight by requesting we get rid of NICE, and put in place an organisation that works. We want an organisation that supports patients and one that is fair and just. One that also puts pressure on these drug companies to...

    Sun Eclipse
I,ve always been interested in the natural world and today wanted to see the partcial eclpse of the sun as it may be the last time for me.Of course it was cloudy and raining, but just as the time came a little bit of blue sky drifted over and I thought if it just went over the sun it would be a miricle, and do you know what - it did for about 20 secs - and I saw the eclipse quite clearly.I gave my grateful thanks to whoever looks over us for the opportunity.I now do believe miricles can happen.
