My nurse consultant told me my tumour had set up its own life support system in my bowel.  "Cheeky so-and so, I thought" - about the cancer of course.

So with chemo, it is almost like playing space invaders with the cancer cells.

Maybe we can do it ourselves through visualisation.  If we wake in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep, we can play space invaders with cancer cells.  Zap all of them one by one.  It doesn't matter if I fall asleep, the chemo will do the rest.

A more formal way is to relax, see above your head, a white light - the healing source.  download it through your body and fill yourself with it.  Colour it any colour you like, I like blue and anything bad will just give up and roll over.  That is how healing works, and if you are healing someone else, it works on you on its way through.

We have some in us already, but we should always draw on the source, because we can be depleted if we use our own resources.

    It's free.

It is not easy to face ones demons under the circumstances. It does take strength and courage. But nevertheless, if you wake up to a down day then let it come out in what ever way it will. Dont think of it as self pity, it is putting everything into perspective and if you are able then coping with it. It is not the easiest news to accept.

I wish you all the very best through your treatments. Keep intouch.

    lol and hugs
