    we lost mum on 3rd May, she had battled ovarian cancer since june 2006, it went to her brain in july 2008 it's so hard i don't know how we will learn to live without her, the pain is too much too endure sometimes. She was so brave and always stayed so positive and never gave up hope, she never told us how ill she was or complained, she died 3 days after her 61st birthday.
  • GP complaints. Where to start? Any experience of putting a complaint in?

    Hi, just wondered if any of you have put complaints in about a GP, that was obstructive in getting treatment or getting the diagnosis? Really angry that my mums GP did this twice at critical times! After 18mths of being fobbed off with different diagnosis from IBS to middle-aged spread mum was finally diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, which had spread to both ovaries, omentum etc. She had 6 litres of ascites drained…

    Hi, just had devastating news mum (just aged 60yrs) diagnosed with secondary brain cancer from ovarian cancer, she was diagnosed in june 2006 with stage 3 ovarian, had successful surgery and 6 chemo's, now about to start radiation for brain. So gutted can't believe it has been missed again for so long by her G.P! Any advice, similar experiences love to hear from you, heartbroken-Rebecca xx
