I am on a higher dose now and this has kicked in already, and I've got another 6 cycles to go!!! My hands are also starting to sting. I know this is a common side effect of Xeloda. I was on 3000mcg a day and now I am on 4250mcg. I asked my partner to massage feet for me but even this hurts!!! Anyone got any tips...

    Cancer Marker
Would like to know how important is taking a cancer marker for you. My 1st marker at 2000, dropped to 300, went up to 600 last week. Dr say he cant explain why, nothing to worry about. I take a test every 3rd week. My hubby's marker was 10 500, dropped to 190. His dr is not really keen on markers.

    What Next?? Whatever Next!
Following conversation took place yesterday between me and the GP, during bloods test: Doc [in slightly disapproving Dr Finlay voice]: The only letters I seem to get about you from the hospital are regarding your next holiday. Self: OK, take a look at this (points to unsightly and painful lump on wrist) I seem to have been bitten by some evil foreign predator. Doc: Doesn't look like a bite. Seems to me more like a ganglion. Self [horrified]: A f***ing WHAT??? Doc: Ganglion. The traditional...

The professor started the class by telling them, 'In Veterinary Medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a doctor: The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the animal body.' For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the dead...

Joke for today - 3 little ducks
Three little ducks go into a Bar... "Say, what's your name?" the bartender asked the first duck. "Huey," was the reply. "How's your day been, Huey?" "Great. Lovely day. Had a ball. Been in and out of puddles all day. What else could a duck want?" said Huey. "Oh. That's nice," said the bartender. He turned to the second duck, "Hi, and what's your name?" "Dewey," came the answer from duck number two. "So how's your day been, Dewey! ?" he asked. "Great. Lovely...
