    Going down hill
    Its all going down hill for my lovely paul. He is in the Hospice for pain controll and the doc has had a very frank talk with him about getting his affairs in order !!! I know he's going to die but it was such a smack in the face to actually hear a doctor say it could be days weeks or possibly months !!! His lung and bone cancer is swamping his body bless him . He has lost the use of his left hand and its creeping up his arm . What can i do to help him ?. I feel so useless and of course its me he...

    Hi all
    Hi everyone, thought I'd finally join in as my percentages took a nose dive yesterday from 2 yrs to 4 months, aparently even though my bowel and liver are now clear, the masses in my lungs have snuck up past the 1cm mark and have been counted. Still don't feel ill at all yet (apart from chemo sideaffects that is) so am looking on the bright side, and living each day to the full. Hopefully, in the next day or so will recount some ideas on all benefits that can be collected, as most websites only...

    I was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and had a mastectomy. Since then I have been very tearful and emotional at times. I was very lucky as it was caught early and radiotherpy and cheom were not needed. I just have to take letrozol for 5 years. I feel that I really should be on top of the world and not be tearful as I am and have been very lucky not to have to go through further treatment. It would be lovely to hear from anyone who has been through a similar situation and is emotional...

    at last got dates for radioterapy 15 wks after radical hystorectomy seems to have gone on for ever but feel fraud moaning as cancer only stage 2b grade1 and after treatment only5% chance of return having 3 short sessions of vault terapy as due to prior bowel surgry[not cancer] cant have external treatment

    Just a short note to let you all know that Binnie's mum has lost her fight against Leukaemia. She made it to her 68th Birthday but sadly passed away yesterday. I know binnie (Belinda) keeps in touch with a lot of you and st the moment she is completely distraught. I am sure she would not mind me letting you all know. Teri
