The Get up and Go has Gone?

My motivation has legged it! I cannot be bothered at the moment to do anything and I don't understand if it's physical or pyschological. I have had a huge blast of radio last Monday on my spine (5 days worth in one hit) and the week before chemo, so I have been exhausted but feel I should be making the best of my life while I am able. I have always been an 'on the go' person, busy, living life to the full and extremely motivated but now I just can't be asked! I hope I'm not sinking into a depression...

    Bertiebassett's Boys

Bert never lived long enough to meet his new grandson but he said all along it would be a boy, never faltering. He kept telling me he had seen him and I thought he was hallucinating. Who knows. Meet Murray Albert Whitehouse.

Greg his other grandson so so happy when he got to see him before he was sedated this is a picture of them both 2 weeks before Bert died.

    Port a cath questions

    Hi Everybody,

I have (had) bowel cancer with liver and lung mets. I had a combined liver and bowel op last year. now I am trying to deal with the lung mets which didn't go with the chemo. I'm having a different chemo and the onc suggested a port a cath as my veins never were good and are quite bad now.

I hate hospitals so much that they have to be warned that I am coming and shut all the doors and get things ready so I don't see any unecessary "hospital things" and I don't have to wait...

    Ron's mum

Ron's mum died yesterday. It was a release really as she wasn't eating and rarely conscious. We will go to the funeral, naturally, and it means that we must fly. I get conflicting opinions about flying after chemo. This site states somewhere that you should not fly for some months after chemo but our oncologist says it's OK. Has anyone any experience? I am now worried about Ron's dad. They had been married 62 years and it is very difficult to cope after such a long time together.
