    Third Chemo

Well it's taken me over a week to recover from the last chemo. Just couldn't get going again but I'm OK now.
Even though I'm not losing weight I've started losing muscle tone particularly on my left hand side - I always thought it would go quite evenly. My left arm and hand are noticably thinner than my right. Might get a job in a circus if it continues. Pulled all the muscles in my neck lifting up S a few days ago, presumambly because my muscles are weakening but now that I know...

    He's Gone

It's been a long time since my last blog and sadly, this is my last blog.

My lovely, uncomplaining husband passed away on 25th Oct. 2010.

He fought so strongly for eighteen months, way past the anticipated time that the Drs. had given.

Now, I'm totally lost. I can't think straight, I can't do anything, I miss him so much. The hurt is so great that I can't stop crying. Dear God, help me please.

    an update

    15 weeks yesterday.

I thought I would blog to tell people that i am doing better. I know through the weeks I have posted some very black, low and at time despirate posts and i am greatful for those who offered their support in response, even thoughs for whom it was very distressing to read.

I am functioning more like a human again at the moment. I ncredably fragile still, and I can find myself crying all of a sudden but functioning through it. The flash of a smile as a pleasantry to people i meet...

    Exhausted today!

Wow, this is my first blog so I feel almost like an author now!!! I am sooooooooooo tired today and feel a little bit of a failure towards my 11 year old daughter. I have spent all day in bed, not sleeping but just too exhausted to get up.

I am fortunate to have very supportive friends and am grateful for that but still wish I was well.

I have had a horrible "barking" cough since my last operation on 23rd September. Surely if it was damage from intubation, it would have gone by now?

The Widow Vibe - And the Question of Time

    It was eighteen weeks today.

And it is nearly a year since I started the blog on this site. I don’t know how many of my original readers are still here … ‘Stuff’, as they say, ‘happens’.  And there is some ‘stuff’ that none of us want to think about happening because it is just too hard …

I want to know where some of you have gone, how you are, but dare not ask.

So, it was eighteen weeks today.
