Wishing for prayers or luck or thoughts... whatever you believe. Signed off some papers to release my pathology slides from May to be sent for further testing... almost felt like signing for a house. These tests will determine wether my cancer cells over express themselves causing them to mutate. It will be about a week before we find out the results and the results will determine which trial we qualify for. if this is the road we go down I'll be spending 2 days in the first day of March in detroit...

Had to request to pull ahead my latest check up at Papworth due to some nagging discomfort over Christmas though ... and suffice to say the lurgy is no longer lurking in the shadows. Not the main nasty this time - but his little friend is up and running - so looks like it is play time again ... Just a little poke in...

Well, another weekend is over, and we are in the week of blood tests and hospital visit to see if the treatment no 3 is ok for next week. I know this treatment is supposed to be milder doses, and the first week, apart from feeling tired I am ok, but now I start having niggles and to feel that the chemo is wearing off and not doing me a lot of good. My hair has fallen out(or most of it). My nurse was supposed to be sorting out my CT scan for after next weeks treatment, but I still haven't had the...

The ultrasound showed that nothing was wrong with the wound, probably just scar tissue. About to get up from the bed, the radiologist put his hand on my arm to stop me, and told...

I have just got back from a week in Disneyland paris and all I can say is it was fantastic. We all had the most amazing time and really didnt want to leave.
