    Hi,

Yes, I have had a trans flap op muscle taken from the stomach and brought up the body and used to reconstruct a breast, and using body fat also. Mine was done on 20th January 2010.  Its not a quick easy fix op, have to realise that it will take awhile to adjust to the after effects of the op. Its very sore and can be quite painful, for a few weeks, make sure you take plenty of pain killers.  If yours is the same as mine, just watch out for stomach bulging under the new breast.  I am in chat most evenings, but not till later at night around 9-10pm I go in, so if you wanted to have a one on one chat about it. Just do not over do it, take your time and plenty of rest.

Well hope you pop in chat, and we can than talk.

Yes I had bilateral from stomach, in 2004.... You will be sore\tender for quite some time, and may feel numb permanently in places, but hopefully it's worth it for you, good luck, contact me anytime if you would like more info

Hi, I've just been discharged from hospital after having a trans flap reconstruction and a fat transfer from my hips to my other breast to make them equal size and shape. I am still very sore and finding it difficult to wear even the softest comfort bra. I've been looking on the net and the advice re wearing bras seems to conflict on every site you look at. Some say wear a bra 24/7, some day time only and some not to wear one at all until day 30! I am already partially numb around my donor area on my back from my lumpecttomy and node removal, but this just makes it feel all the more uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice or opinion on this. Thanks Donna xx
