30 Things For Turning 30 #3

Less than one minute read time.

I have just got back from a week in Disneyland paris and all I can say is it was fantastic.  We all had the most amazing time and really didnt want to leave.  I for one am absolutely shattered as we did so much all day everyday.  We have been before but my younger 2 children were only 1 and 2 at the time so they couldnt remember any of it.  It was March 2006 and it is also where my husband proposed to me, in Cindrellas castle.  No surprises this time, just a wanting to return so everyone will remember it and experience it all properly together.  I hope I will get to go again one day, maybe with some grandchildren...who knows??

In our room, all ready for bed??

Hello Chrissie, what lovely pictures and memories for you all.  I sincerely hope you do go again one day.  You look fantastic and I bet no one knows you are ill by looking at you.  My breast cancer was diagnosed in 2007 - grade 3 - left mastectomy, axillary clearance.  Couldn't have chemo as too ill but had 26 radios and 1 yr herceptin.  I hope you don't mind me asking but I have been suffering severe lower back pain since a few months after the end of herceptin - Spring 2009.  I am going to have some spinal injections to help with the pain on 7th March but my left hip is now causing me sooo much pain also.  I have not been diagnosed with secondary ca. but no-one seems to know what's wrong.  Do you suffer back pain at all, if so how was it diagnosed.  Hope you don't mind me asking but I was wondering whether my back/hip pain is something breast cancer survivors may have to deal with.  Anyway, sorry to babble on.  Your children are absolutely lovely and I am sure they are your medication.  Take care of yourself and I wish you many, many more memories with your family.  God bless,Ann x

@ Ann....of course I dont mind you asking but I can't say it's something I have experienced. All together I have had Herceptin for nearly 3 years but no pains etc. Thats not to say it isn't caused by the treatment you have had, herceptin although tolerable is still toxic and can affect everyone differently. I really hope it gets under control. Thankyou so much for your lovely comments too and that goes to everyone else too xxxx
