Everything is so difficult for me lately. I know, people expect us to smile and say everything is great. But what if it's not? This past month I've been coughing a lot!! The coughing during the day is tolerable and not so bad. But then as it gets to about 7-8 pm the coughing gets difficult. Had my second octreotide jab recently. Side effects? What side effects! If a drug does not qualify you for a Kojak re-make audition then it really is not trying hard enough ....
Reality check is that it was designed for ailments way worse than mine and I am just fortunate that it causes significant "collateral damage" to thymoma. Been some time since I was in treatment the first time, and it is humbling.
My thymoma is definately alive .... but I'm sure that it is being gently encouraged...

Hi start radiotherapy on 13th June for breast cancer and wondered if anyone has any top tips? also read that for the rest of my life will have to wear factor 60 on the treated area and wondered if everyone has stuck to this advice, any tips would be great, thanks, Pauline
Today have felt the best I have done since op.Been able to function quite well and had porridge for brekky,cheese toastie(half) and chicken salad for tea.Doesnt sound much but for me its loads.So feel I must be improving.Will be glad when eating is normal and yes do know will have to eat small portions.Before treatment I loved my food and ate loads!!!!Feeling better In the kitchen and will commence cooking again soon.Know to I will have good days and bad but happy with improvement and good for Leanne...

Not bad few days managing to eat a bit.Managed a large dressed crab with buttered cob and thats remarkable for me.Weight remaing stable as lost nearly 4 stone since op! Nutrition making brain feel better.11 stone now and not lost any last few days.Still can get very tired though.Al in all good news
