On Saturday, it was found, purely by chance that my mum had low haemoglobin and needed a blood transfusion. I took her to the local hospital for blood matching but she needed to attend a hospital several miles away today for the transfusion.
I asked if an ambulance could be arranged to take her but apparently it can’t be arranged at weekend. There was no option but for me to take time off work for the trip, which I really don’t mind doing but it’s not me that’s the issue in that scenario...
Its been a long time since the previous round in the battle between Larry from Shitesville and Brooksie. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal, stage 3, oestrogen receptor positive ER+, breast cancer in my left breast in January 2012. As it had affected my lymph nodes too, my treatment plan has been, 6 x chemo, subcutaneous mastectomy and lymph node clearance, followed by 25 x radio therapy sessions and 5 years hormone therapy, currently Tamoxifen.

yesterday my oldest took part in local half marathon and we used it as family day out was lovely to spend quality time with them all and some great memories for the future we had breakfast after they had set off back to top of town to see them finnish then back down for dinner after that left them all watching football while i came home took pain meds and naped was lovely day and made me feel so proud of the men they are am in co cods fog at moment brain not working right they do it every time but...
My mum is diagnosed with cancer in her lungs & groin, that was two years ago. She has been treated by Christies but has now been told that there is nothing more they can do for her.

My lovely husband died on Wednesday. I miss him so much. I am finding it hard to cope. I was with him and I was so blessed to be there holding his hand. I held his hand for over two hours after he went. It was so hard to let go.
Had the common Symptoms of Lymphoma since the end of July... Fatigue, weight loss, night sweats and numerous lymph nodes in my neck raised and growing rapidly in size so that they are now very noticeable.
I went to the doctors when I first noticed them and he told me it was most certainly an infection and that they will decrease in size in about a week or so.
