    Bummer!

Found out this morning that Patrick's cancer had spread to 2 of the lymph glands that were removed at the same time as his bladder.  Not great news but we don't have much detail yet - this news came in a letter!  Nice!!  Hopefully he'll be able to talk to someone in more detail after the bank holiday.  Until then we're in the dark!

    Third lot of chemo

My Dad went into hospital Thursday morning for his third lot of chemo, which has ended up with him getting his first two chemo drugs in a drip and the other in tablet form due to my Dad taking a reaction to it. This has allowed my Dad to come home and take the rest of his chemo at home, so he now just has to go to hospital as a day patient. Im a bit confused about all this as Im not sure does the treatment work the same is it as effective as the drip? My Dad quite happy he is home Mum a bit upset...
