Hi, today i have had two biopsy samples taken on my vulva. I’m worried that my doctor wasn’t listening or paid attention to the area of my concern. I have two ulcers on my clitoris however he took biopsy of skin that is far away from this area. Is this normal? I thought he’d take a sample of the ulcer? How can I be sure the results will be accurate? Anyone help. Thanks
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear that you're worried that your doctor may have taken skin for a biopsy from the wrong area.
For your peace of mind the only thing I can suggest is that you ring up and voice your concerns to him. He should be able to explain why he took the sample from the area that he did.
