Just saw consultant today after using imiquimod cream for 3 months to be told it’s made it worse and the VIN has spread so need the whole clitoris removed. Two more biopsies taken to check if the VIN has got to a higher stage than 3. I will find out in a few weeks what’s what.. Feeling a bit all over the place ..
The consultant hasn’t seen this before, the cream making it worse has anyone else had a similar reaction ?
Thank you

Hi Miss G thanks for replying .. You seem to be well supported which is great, must make a difference..
I was considering asking for another consultant due to a few small issues but she was right on it today. She asked if she had given me enough advice on using the cream. I said no because when I asked for advice she told me to slather it on..
They took pictures so consultant can discuss with her colleague, who was the surgeon who removed it before. The last biopsy showed same as you 2/3. The cream seems to have made anything that was not showing to come out. I’m kinda hoping that not using the cream will make it all calm down and look normal again and maybe outcomes will be different.
I will keep in touch, you too
