lymphoedema

Hi

3 weeks ago i had 2nd surgery for vulval cancer and lymph nodes removed from both groins.. i have now developed lymphoedema in my left groin.. had it drained on tuesday and filled back up on wednesday.. does anyone have any recommendations to what might help me!  

  • Can't help but will say be careful of abscess 

    I had my left lymph nodes removed in the April but by the June 2018  I got an abscess 

    I have a bit of lymphedema on the left leg I use a sit in the chair cycle to get my legs moving 

    Look on McMillan site for their booklet on lymphedema 

    Also I say speak to the nurses at the hospital 

    I have posted questions on ask the nurse on this site it does say scan in the subject line
