Husband 34 . We are half way through chemo. We have a 1 yr old and 4 year old. It's mentally hard coping as are shielding and missing family. We are both very stressed and have stopped talking. Just endeared havowcitger families are coping?
Diagnosis was March 19th. Treatment started 8 days later
19cm tumour in abdo spread to lymph x3 prognosis good
Chemo many symptoms- severe nausea. fatigue. neuropathy. bone marrow pain. Dvt scare. Infection was on antibiotics. All made difficult as tricky resting with young family.
Hi Tamms, I’m really sorry to hear that you are going through this. I can’t relate with the family side as I have no children but my wife was really my rock through it all and I don’t think I made it easy for her.
I hope that knowing the prognosis is good is some comfort.
