Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to see that no one has been able to reply to your post yet. It could be because no one here has had the same experience as you or just that the person who has hasn't seen your post yet.
Anyway, if this problem is still bothering you then I'd recommend that you get in touch with your CNS and they should be able to answer your question.
When you have a minute, it would be useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Wishing you all the best
He there,
hope your doing ok now - sorry its not been a quick reply.
basically i had the same , its all sorts of gunk down there from the operation - air, water, blood, dried blood etc - it takes a good few days to go even longer - it gets absorbed back into your system - as long as its not swelling up / getting bigger rapidly.
basically rest up for a good 2 weeks , any sort of fever or bleeding in that area - the go call your GP / 111.

So just a update had my letter back from the hospital saying i have a non seminomatous germ cell tumour with embryonal carcinoma and yolk sac elements anyone have any info on this as theres a lot of big words there an not a clue what they all mean on a scale of good/bad/terrible an due to covid-19 docs being slow to get in touch
Hi
That's good news that you've had a letter with your diagnosis, but I'm sorry that I can't help with what your diagnosis means.
It might be a good idea to start a new post asking about your diagnosis as it's more likely to be seen if it's separate from this one.
If you don't get any replies you can always post your question in ask a nurse and one of the nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days.
I hope the letter tells you what the planned treatment is and when they'll be contacting you to discuss it.
x
