I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in May 2019, stage 1 seminoma 41mm, Orchidectomy and Adjuvant dose. All been fine until latest surveillance in Feb 2026, always a little nervous around the surveillance checks but with each one came greater assurance. Latest one was bloods and X-Ray, bloods came back normal however chest x-ray showed a tiny nodule on the left side which they think may just be a shadow from my nipple, however for completeness have recommended a CT scan. My oncologist in the letter has said
"I must stress that I think it is highly unlikely that this is anything to do with your previous testicular cancer, however we must follow the advice of the reporting radiologist"
Has anyone else had any nodules etc found on their x-ray that turned out to be nothing. Appreciate the Drs letter provides some comfort however being in this holding patten again isn't what I imagined nearly 7 years out from diagnosis.
Hi wk495292 . I am not from this group but I saw your post and it rang a bell with me. When I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, a CT scan identified a nodule on my lung. I was told these were common. They decided to just monitor it with regular scans. After 10 years of annual scans it has so far not changed at all. I hope for something similar for you. Best wishes.
