Any advice or recommendations?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry that no one has felt able to come forward and tell you about their experiences with RPLND yet. By replying to you it will bump your post back to the top of the page where it'll be more easily seen.

While you're waiting for replies, if you type 'RPLND' into the search bar in this group there are a number of previous posts on this topic in the last few months. You could have a read of these and respond to any where you think the posters could help you further.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

All the best with your upcoming treatment

    Hi ungerpants,

im afraid i have no experience of your imminent operation, I’m all stocked up on chemo experiences and knowledge though!

There are a few threads on here historically that discus rnlpd operations, they can take but of finding.

Its a relatively uncommon op in the uk - have you had any other treatments? What’s your story so far?

    tske care

  • Hi Dan

It's not me with testicular cancer, I was replying to UngerPants.

Edit - just spotted you've changed the name of the person you were replying to.

    Hi,

Do you know what type of RPLND you are having and location?  I had a Robotic one just under two weeks ago and from what I understand they only removed the retroperitoneal node on the left.

    Cheers,

    Gtaeme
