I've been told I can get assistance with travel costs from my home to Addenbrooks for treatment distance is about 55 miles each way. Is this correct and if so how do I get it.
Start by contacting your GP. They should have numbers for local cancer support services. When I was going through diagnosis and getting treatment our local charity was really supportive. I had a ferry journey and a 40 mile road trip to the hospital. Everything was covered by the charity.
