Diagnosis

  1. Raised PSA: 121, clinical diagnosis of prostate cancer
  2. MRI shows a 92cc prostate with a right-sided tumour (T3a)(T3a)
  3. Bone scan/CT scan - no metastases.

 Plan

1. PSMA-PET scan

2. Bicalutamide 50mg OD on the day after the PET scan

3. Biopsy results in clinic and to discuss any further management

A bit more positive now. Hopefully onwards and upwards.

  • Hello

Thank you for your post - two bits of good news.

    * The bone scan shows no metastases - the cancer hasn't gone "walkabout".

    * The day you start on Bicalutamide is the day the cancer stops being fed - and the treatment journey starts.

    Best wishes - Brian.
