Some decent news today. I’ve been taking bicalutomide since November and my my PSA then was about 10. It’s now down to 7.
Also, I have been invited to participate in the spacer jelly trial and have a meeting next Friday at UCLH to discuss this.
Gazby20,
All good news is welcome here. So it looks like you will be getting radiotherapy and been selected for the 'jelly' trial. If this trial does what it claims then you are on to a winner.
For anyone reading this who does not know about 'jelly' a quick read:

Congratulations Gazby20!
Always nice to see a PSA score drop, and the spacer jelly does seem like a really good idea if it is confirmed that the cancer is confined to the prostate capsule. Not an option in my case, as there may be some cancer spread into the capsule wall and perhaps beyond.
I hope that it works for you.
Very best wishes,
Jonathan.
