Good Evening, People..I Would like to start by saying, very sorry I haven't been on here for quite a time, I had so much happening since my last post on here. Well down to business my fight with mr ' C ' Continues I was diagnosed with secondary liver cancer, last year from my primary site of bowel resection & had more chemo to shrink Tumors on liver, which it did & had more scans/ colonoscopy ( which I lost count how many I had now..lol.. ) plus I had chemoradiation end of may beginning of july on my pelvis area which is stable for now ( Thankfully!! ).
But unfortunately last week, I was supposed to have a liver resection but first have a laparoscopic camera, to see no more cancer is lurking about that would stop procedure their was two or three new Tumors by my liver which apparently Advanced, so I can't have operation & will need palliative Chemotherapy/Whatever as not curable.
Gutted is an understatement & my liver Consultant was too so I got to see my Oncologist on 22nd October to discuss plan & treatment for me as I'm going to kick it's butt for good harder/stronger & positive as well. I got a new partner she is lovely & knows what I'm going through as had cancer & her late partner did as well & one of her daughter did but got all clear back in September.
I got family & friends who are supportive, even though got their own lives to contend with apart from me. I will keep you updated, after my oncologist appointment on treatment I be starting.
Takecare, keep positive if you can,and show it who's the boss!!!
All The Best,
Markie Mark X
Hi Mark ,
We have communicated in the past . Firstly it’s good to read you have a new supportive partner . That’s great news .
Sorry to hear your recent set back but you do respond very well with chemo so hopefully the oncologist will get that under control again . You have gone through so much but you have experienced just how much chemo can achieve and I hope it will again .
take care ,
Court
