Hi, I am new to this forum.
my partner had her Left kidney removed due to a T3 growth on her kidney, it was removed via an operation as opposed to keyhole due to the size of the growth.
her wounds are healing well and she has minor pain in that area, but 5 weeks after operating she is and has been since week 3 in excruciating pain along the shoulder, neck and back of her right hand side to the point where she can’t even bear to stand or sit... she feels a bit better laying down, but still I pain. Is this normal?
Hi Jakal welcome to the forum and sorry that you have not had a response as yet.
I would question whether that degree of pain is normal and I would be tempted to either get in touch with the hospital where she had the op or speak to the GP or alternatively give the Out of Hours a call but either way someone needs to have a look at this and see if they can get that pain under control.
I hope you get the help that you need but if not do think about giving the Nurse at the Macmillan Line a call on 08088080000.
