Hi,
My dad has been on cabozantinib since Friday 3rd April and is now really struggling with extreme sores on hands and feet, he has been prescribed diprobase to help but it isnt doing much. Does anyone have any recommendations of anything that could help?
He has also been told to stop treatment for 1 week due to issues with liver function and has got very high blood pressure, has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks
sorry to hear that: my husband found eucerin urea cream helpful, or moo goo with urea. He eventually took breaks and went on lower doses and has been on cabozantinib 20mg for 6 months. The high dose had very extreme side effects for him. The good news is that he's coped well on the lower dose with fewer side effects and has lived a good quality of life, and the latest scan shows large kidney tumour and lymph tumours have reduced again. Hope your dad also sees improvement.
