Good morning everyone
Soooo......ordinarily, lots of us would be preparing for a lovely day today. Maybe Sunday lunch at a pub and spending precious time with family. It won’t happen today due to the very nasty Corona virus!!
But for some of us it wouldn’t have happened anyway due to the also very nasty cancer thing!!
Whether you are just starting out on this awful journey, half way through the aggressive treatment or post treatment and dealing with the after effects......we are all scared.
Sometimes we think surely things can’t get any worse. And then they do!! It’s so unfair!
But.....we will get through this....and we’ll all beat the nasty cancer and nasty Corona!
Please stay safe everyone. I’d like to think you are all mine and Ken’s friends now and I value each and every one of you. My heart breaks for us all and I’ve had a few tears watching the news over the past few days.
Also people are making me angry by panic buying....so today I have to make a Sunday dinner with no meat or potatoes because they didn’t come with my shopping last night!
But...we will stay strong, stay together, talk to each other. We are virtual friends, most of us will not have met, but let’s look after each other in these really scary times.
