Was diagnosed with oesophagus cancer 1 year ago had chemo therapy and operation last december . I have kept myself really positive all the way through which I think helped me but last week had a CT scan and heard from doctor today saying it has showed up an enlarged ovarie which could be cancer I am now scared that it is back in another form , needless to say I am now very scared . They are arranging bloods and an MRI scan for next week or so .

  • Hi there! Well done in getting through the chemo and recovering from the op etc etc of this terrible disease.  Keep positive :) Its the only way to beat this. Waiting for these tests will feel really long but its really good that they have managed to arrange these quickly with everything that's going on. I am hoping all will be well and its only a blip but try and stay strong and keep busy so time passes quickly.

Scan anxiety is no fun although is does get less scary over time.  I was diagnosed with OC in August 2018 and had chemo, surgery, and more chemo. I went through all the tests again over the summer as I was losing weight and had terrible diarrhoea.  Scans and bloods all came back NED but I am now on a probiotic which is working wonders.  Hang in there and stay strong.  Thinking of you.
