Well I had the feeding tube fitted three weeks ago and it stopped working, no idea why but it did. Spent nearly an hour with tubes and solutions, waited an hour for a nurse to arrive and do the same as us to tell us sorry it's hospital and a change of tube. Ended up in a&e overnight, tube being replaced this afternoon and hopefully meeting oncologist. Deepest joy,!
Sorry you had a bad day. My husband is now on just liquid while awaiting biopsy result, they cant say when a feeding tube would be used. He's on 400 cals a day some days. They cant tell us how long he'll wait for surgery. They are pretty vague about everything???
Trying to stay positive hope you are as positive as you can be too, l feel positive sometimes then it fades again keeping trying
