My husband has been taking Amitryptolin for nerve pain in his back caused by the op. It has improved things over the last months but not totally resolved it. GP decided to add Gabapentin to the prescription to try and help. Chris took it for just two days but had quite frightening confused episodes (listed as possible side effects) so refused to take anymore. He has felt as he described it ….. not quite right …… since then and the back pain suddenly recurred yesterday with a vengeance. I know Gabapentin shouldn’t be stopped suddenly but he only took it for two days.
Has anyone experienced this before I start worrying something else is going on?
