Hi real anxiety today. Woke up with it. Normally I'm ok but because I'm due for an MRI end of November and I can't get a date, because of Covid backlog. I feel like it has really set me back emotionally. Im ok as long as I know I have that appointment in the diary.I have secondary breast cancer on one vertebrae. I had surgery and most of diseased bone was removed. Metal rods in my back. I am on Palbociclib and stable at last MRI. I am lucky and thankful for my treatment and quality of life. I work hard every day to literally stay sane  but sometimes anxiety just takes over. So that's what brings me here today.

  • Hi

I do understand that feeling of being okay when the next appointment is definitely booked and I'm hoping that since you wrote this post you are now feeling less anxious. However, if that's not the case, then you might benefit from having a look through this information from Macmillan on managing anxiety as it makes suggestions on ways that you can cope. If you feel that your anxiety is getting worse then please speak to either your GP or CNS as they should be able to find ways of helping you cope with it.
