Hi everyone. Im 43 and had my first oncology appointment last Friday and although I haven’t got a date yet, I’ve been told it will start in 2-4weeks. I have read a lot of your comments and profiles and I appear to be having a different Chemotherapy to most of you lovely ladies. I’m having TC Chemotherapy 6 cycles every 3 weeks then 3 cycles of Radiotherapy afterwards. I’ve had a mastectomy, nodes where clear. I’m HER2 positive and ER+. It’s grade 3 and my tumour was huge, 6.5 cm invasive with a total amount of 13 cm including DCIS. Has anyone had a tumour similar in size to mine and/ or had TC Chemotherapy? I’m just wondering what to expect and why I seem to be having a different Chemotherapy treatment to a lot of you lovely ladies. x
Hi, my tumor was very big, 11.4 cm but I had 2 lymph nodes involved. I am starting ECT on thursday. I am not sure why you are having something different. Mine is not HER positive, good luck with your chemo. Mine starts this week
