I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.  I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  It's unlikely that the cough has anything to do with the tumor position.

Wishing you the best of luck with whatever treatment plan your medical team comes up with.

    Best wishes

  • Hi. I've been recently diagnosed with triple negative and 3 lymph nodes.

I've had a cough too. I just nipped to the doctors as the chemist wouldn't see me. Mine was viral.  Lots of fluids recommended.

Every ache and pain i was is that cancer spreading... my nurse said its common to have these thoughts.  Just keep checking in with your gp. Get rid of all infections before chemo starts has been my advice from my nurse.

    Good luck.

  • Hello, thanks for reply.Yes i do think it is normal to be freaked out by every ache and pain after this horrendous diagnosis. However if the GP isnt willing to listen to chest or examine, how can they possibly know?
