Hello everyone, could I ask if any of you had a heart scan before starting treatment, my Oncologist said I would have one half way through treatment, I had an ECG before first treatment, the hospital called this morning to book me an appointment for Friday, I explained that Friday my second lot of treatment is due, she seemed a little surprised that I had started treatment, just wondered if anyone had the heart scan before treatment or just ECG ?
Hi Crawler, I had an ECG just before my first chemo. I was told that I may require further ones throughout if consultant wanted this. I haven’t had another one since but knew that I may require another during my chemo if my consultant requests this.
