Hello, just trying to think about next steps. I had surgery on 21/1 with LICAP reconstruction. Feel really well 10 days in. When can I expect to receive the next stages of my treatment, which is likely to be chemotherapy or maybe radiotherapy depending on results? Some posts appear to indicate it could be up to 8 weeks?
You need to have results of what was taken away first so that the doctors can decide what treatment is best for you. If the margins around the tumour(s) are large enough and there was no lymph node involvement, there may be no further treatment required, Expect to get your results appointment about 4 - 6 weeks after surgery. It may be sooner depending on your NHS trust. After that, your consultant may refer you to oncology, then the appointment with them to discuss treatment.
It could, therefore, be up to 8 weeks but the major part of your treatment is done with the surgery, anything else is belt and braces to mop up any stray cancer cells.

I had a lumpectomy and sensory node biopsy at the end of December. Called back 8th January to be informed that they needed to do another operation to remove pre cancerous cells and remove the lymph nodes. I had this operation last Tuesday 26th January.
I get the results and the next course of treatment on Friday 5th February. I believe that I will be having radiotherapy and hormone tablets but until they get the results from my lymph nodes whether I need chemo.
Hopefully you don't have to long wait.
