Was diagnosed with bowel cancer in July 2019. Re diagnosed in June 2020 as pathologist noticed that the cells in colon tumour were similar to the cells from my breast cancer tumour from 2005. After a year of treatment for bowel cancer in colon appendix and periteneum us spread to ureter to left kidney now on treatment with Letrozol and Palbociclib. I am worried and upset at mistake made. A major incident investigation is being undertaken by the hospital. I am now left with neuropathy and the ureter cancer which I would not have experienced had I been correctly diagnosed. The hospital have admitted this. So, what does my future hold?
, that is just awful. No wonder you are upset. At least they have admitted it, so you do not have the additional stress of trying to make them accept their mistake. It does not help you now though. I hope the medication will shrink the secondaries. Sending love xx
