Saw surgeon yesterday, lump 22mm and now grade 2 after being told it was a grade 3. He got margins and the three lymph nodes were cancer free. Go for radiotherapy and will be on tamoxifen possibly for 10 years, but will see how i react to that. Have had to ask about stage as was not given that and i need to know for my work OH referral so waiting on call back for that.
That's really great news - congratulations My op is on 4th December, lumpectomy and lymph nodes after 6 sessions of chemo which have shrunk the tumour significantly. Onwards and upwards. Keep your chin up xx
And you !!! Good look with the radiotheraphy - should all be done for you by Xmas. x
Just got a letter to see the consultant for radiotherapy on Monday, totally gobsmacked on how quick that has come. breast surgeon seemed to think radiotherapy would be in the new year but i am wondering if it will be sooner. Letter is dated from friday, i known they have their MDT meetings on a friday, must have been done and held until yesterday
That's really good news - the sooner it is all done and dusted the better
