Hi all I checked this out with Macmillan before I shared and they said I could share in the Breast Cancer forum.
I am sharing because it is a question we are often asked about and one that I have not much experience of.
I just need to be clear the website Im talking about is not endorsed by Macmillan but rather I am able to share it with you via the forum which is great.
Post Mastectomy bras are something that people often ask where to get them, or for us to recommend sites, but we are not able to do that, but this story in the National Newspapers caught my eye as it is two sisters, both of whom had Breast Cancer and Mastectomies and found the choices for women for Bras very old fashioned and dull where as women wanted to feel feminine and glamorous with their underwear. So they set up their own website doing exactly that and thats what I wanted to tell you about. They also offer a fitting service which I can imagine will be quite important.
I can't vouch for the quality or cost of the products but anything that enables women to feel more normal has to be worth a look.
