Hi
This is my 1st time posting. I was hoping someone might have been in a similar position to me and can provide me with some advise/support.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer Nov 2020. Had a lumpectomy and axillary node clearance. Bone scans and CT scans followed which picked up a few abnormalities but the radiologist and oncologist were not concerned. I however pushed for more tests.
MRI scan has come back to show there is some shaddowing on the top of a mass on the base of my spine. This has really thrown me to my lowest point of this journey so far. I have been advised to continue chemo for 3 rounds then have another MRI scan. If the spine mass reduces it is likely to be cancer.
I'm not sure mentally how I can continue in this limbo until early April.
I would welcome to hear from anyone that has been in a similar situation and what outcome they got and how they got through these next couple of months. Any positive stories would be much appreciated.
Thanks so much.
, sorry to hear you have this worry. I have no experience of this, but hopefully someone will be along soon to give you some information.. Sending hugs xx
