Hello everyone its been 12 years since I had my mastectomy then I noticed I seemed to be scratching a lot around my armpit and across the mastectomy site I've also had a lot of pain in and around my shoulder in the end I found it extremely painful to lift or apply pressure So.. after a visit to my GP I'm attending my appointment this Monday to be checked.
Until now I wasn't aware of this syndrome thought I was imagining it so I'm pleased to see that I don't seem to be the only one however as it's been 12 years can I ask how long after your surgery did this happen to you??

I haven't had the experience you're looking for but I noticed that no one had responded to your post yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussions list where it'll be more easily spotted.

Am I right in thinking from your last paragraph that you were intending to reply to someone else's post, rather than starting a new thread? It gives me the impression because you say that you don't seem to be the only one and ask "how long after surgery this happened to you?", If this is the case, then if you go to the thread this was on and use the 'reply' below their post and then the person who you are directing this question to, will see your reply.
