I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in my bones 18 months ago.

I take Anastrozole and have monthly denosumab injections.

I am 65 and my husband of 40 years is 72 and wonderfully supportive all the way through my cancer journey which started 14 years ago with breast cancer and a mastectomy

My biggest worry now is I can't be intimate with my husband.  We have tried lubricants but they burn and make me very sore.  I know there are other ways to satisfy my husband but i am so tired all i want to do in bed is sleep.

My husband means the world to me and I dont want to lose him. Can anyone advise how they have managed this situation please

Unfortunately, cancer can have an impact on all parts of your life and you might find this information from Macmillan useful to have a look through. It includes information on who can help you if cancer is affecting your sex life.
