i was diagnosed with stomach cancer 20 months ago and given the terminal diagnosis 13 months ago with life expectancy of 4/5 months so I’m doing well, I went to the Greek isles twice last year but risked it with no insurance, I would like to go one last time but would like to take out insurance, any recommendations of companies that will insure for a reasonable price please Wendy x

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to find reasonably priced travel insurance when you have had a cancer diagnosis.

Have you had chance to look through the Recommended Travel Insurance thread yet as it's where we try to keep recommendations from other forum members who have obtained travel insurance? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you to it and you might find some companies that you haven't tried yet.

It is best to phone the travel companies rather than try and do online quotes as it's easier to explain to someone than try to do it online.

I do hope that you can get travel insurance and that you have a great holiday

    x

Hi Dave, thank you, I will give them a call, do you mind me asking if it was very expensive? I’m not being tight but this is probably going to be my last holiday abroad so don’t want to have to pay loads, Wendy x
