Hi everyone .I had a loop Stoma in place for 3months now and not a problem.Then 1 started to get bigger .My Stoma nurse told me that It was a Prolapse ...As I have been told that if would not remove as it's going to come back . In 3 months time I have to discuss having my Stoma reversed .??

I wasn't sure from your post whether you were looking for others who had had a prolapse in their stoma or others who have had their stoma reversed.

That's great news Aldan! I do think the various specialist nurses are worth their weight in gold. When I was diagnosed with melanoma I had so many questions that I hadn't thought of when I was first told and so many worries flooding my brain. I made an appointment to see my SCNS (skin cancer nurse specialist) and, like yours, she was able to answer all my questions and help me put things in to perspective.

My Stoma nurse Elidh just stopped the Surgeon in the corridor and told him face to face about what was happening and his reply was On no no that should not be happening.I wasn't to see him again til
April now it's on Tuesday
