I'm fairly new to this helpful forum, adjusting to life with my colostomy since having APR surgery almost twelve weeks ago now. In the last few weeks my activity levels have increased somewhat in line with my general recovery. I've therefore been researching suitable stoma support garments and notice that the Comfizz site mentions some items bring available via prescription. Does anyone know how this works please? Does it depend on what supplier is used for your ostomy products as my Stoma Nurse has previously advised that support items are not available on prescription. If anyone can shed an light it would be most appreciated?
