Morning everyone

My mum passed away a week ago from lung cancer, 6 weeks after being diagnosed.

The last few days of he life watch her in so much pain and agitation was horrendous.

I feel empty and lost and so hearbroken especially as we cant give her what she deserves during this covid lockdown

I have never felt pain like this, my heart aches Broken heart

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to the Online Community, a Community that no one really looks to see themselves joining, and so sorry to hear about the death of your mum, my sincere condolences.

The death of a family member brings confusion, stress and lots of questions but you may find talking with other people who are on the same type of journey will help you a lot.

The Community is organised into support groups so could I suggest you join our supportive Bereaved family and friends group as this is the place where you will connect with others walking this challenging journey.

Follow the above link then choose ‘click to join' or ‘join’ when the page opens. You can then introduce yourself, post questions or just  join in with existing discussions by clicking on 'reply'.

It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listing ear.

Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.

I actually lost my mum in mid November and due to the COVID restrictions and me being Clinically Vulnerable I was not allowed to be with her in hospital when she passed away, So I do feel for you as I do understand.

    All the very best ((hugs))
