Hi, I've had a horse voice, and cough tight throat and fatigue for 5+weeks, I am fast tracked for ENT test next week. I'm petrified. I've lost both parents to cancer. I'm trying to staff positive in front of everyone, but it's exhausting. Sorry if I'm coming across as blowing this out of proportion.
Thank you Steve, for the kind words.
I feel like I'm a fake at the moment, as one person said I'm making a big deal out of it, as I probably haven't got it, and I will look a fool when I get the all clear.
when they asked why I was down.
Again apologies for complaining over nothing. And thanks again x
Hi Ronnie,
I really hope you are a 'fake' but if you are do not feel bad about it. Your parents having cancer has made you hypervigilant. This is perfectly reasonable. Families suffer just as much as the patient and learn to live 'on guard'.
You will not look a fool to any of us here and you are not alone in needing support. We are here for you, whatever the outcome.
Sending you a gentle hug and a four leaf clover x
Jackie
