hi i was very sick after my first chemo, i came home and 3 hours later i was non stop sick for 24hours and then went into hospital, for me i think it was just the shock and not accepting that i have cancer.l also fainted when they were giving me chemo!!! The next time he has chemo they should give him stronger anti sickness, i had lorazapam which calms me down so i dont faint and get wound up, the first is always the worst, it will get better, as you cannot see him just think he is getting rest cos when you feel like crap you cant be bothered to put on a brave face no matter how close you are to them, that energy being used to put on a brave face can be used to getting better. good luck you will both get through it
that was the best anti sickness for my husband too.
