I have been diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer with liver metastases, on my 2nd round of 6 of folfox in between round 1 and 2 developed a blood clot under my armpit, (picc line). Now on blood thinners Inhixa (enoxaparin for at least 2 months. My 1st round of chemotherapy usual nausea feeling change anti sickness to Ondansetron and Aprepitant plus steroids feeling much better, also got neuropathyin my hands. Now developed a drumming in my ears keeping me awake most of the night, would that be caused by Folfox or the blood thinners.
Hi Stevie63 I have had a lot of chemo and other drugs over the years but not Folfox.
You may want to post your question in the dedicated Bowel (colon and rectum) cancer group as you will connect with others who have had this treatment - this group is a general chemotherapy group.
I have been in blood thinners for the past 4 years following my heart attack….. but I have had drumming in my ears and actually some hearing damage for over 13 years due to the various chemo treatments I have had.
